My name is Gary Mitchell Carter. For years I worked in the entertainment field as an actor, writer, director and producer. I also taught acting, an avocation that gave me a great deal of satisfaction from an artistic and therapeutic standpoint. I found that good acting relied, like every other aspect of life, on one’s ability to be “in the moment” and that the things that prevent us from that “nowness” (fear, anxiety, addiction, anger, lack of focus, poor self-esteem) are thought patterns that we learned in the past, conditioned behavior installed on a subconscious level.
Searching for effective ways to remove those “blocks”, including my own, became my great passion. I made many discoveries, the greatest of which was hypnosis.
I’m still making discoveries. I absolutely love what I do. Hypnotherapy is the single most effective way to bring about change in your life. As you know, change is the one aspect of life we can rely on if we continue to grow.
